The Return of the Rainbow Serpent of Healing and
Plants of the Aboriginal Dreamtime
It was a profound experience to be called to Australia
by elders in 2004. This involved the rekindling of a deep spiritual connection
with Dinny Smith Aboriginal lore/law man. The visit involved a series
of initiations and tests and the formal presentation in the physical
and spiritual of the mantle of healing power symbolised by "The
Rainbow Serpent.
In 2006 I was called to Australia by elders yet again. This time
to be initiated further into 'Woman's Business.' I was also priviliged
to meet and make a deep spiritual connection with Aboriginal elder
and wise woman Veronica Barnett - nee Blanco. Veronica is from Yadhaigana
people. Her mother comes from the Meriam Mir people from Murray Island
in the Torres Straits and her grandmother is a full blooded Aboriginal
from the Bamaga people.
